I mentioned early this week that I set up a booth at Lalah V's in Rossford Ohio. E and I headed over there last week to finalize the decor and I am so proud of my little space! If you live in the area I would loooooooooove for you to go and check out this great store with very affordable vintage items and art!
Anderson & Josephina are both rescue dogs. They mean the world to me. When Tori an employee at Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron contacted me about a wonderful event to benefit Pawsibilities I was thrilled. If you love shopping, mini makeovers, sampling bites to eat & helping a great cause this event is for you! Also adoptable animals will be at the event! The event is being held at Room 9 Boutique. What a great way to show your love and support a great cause. It warms my heart that there are so many good people who care deeply about animals.
Our mission at the shelter is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned and neglected animals of Summit County, place them in good homes, investigate and prosecute animal cruelty, while striving to set a standard of excellence and leadership in animal care, humane education, and progressive animal welfare programs.
So last week I announced that I delivered etsy shop twins (olive&otis) and that I would be bringing a giveaway to my lovely readers very soon! I handpicked an item from the shop that is one of my favorites! I picked it up at an estate sale a few months back. This little ladies home was filled with gems. This purse looks like it was never used. It is super sassy & you have the chance to win it!
So here is the official rules:
You must be a follower of my blog via google friend connect.
This week has been all sorts of crazy busy! From working on the Blogger meet up details to my professional photo session yesterday & getting ready for the 330 Swap & Shop I have failed to create any real content. But here's the thing sometimes the lack of content urges me to be come more creative. So here it is, today I unofficially will start the Wednesday Randomness series that may or may not last more than one week.
To start this off real good lets talk celebs. If someone asked me if you had a chance to have a date with any 5 celebs who would it be? The answer has been the same for many years & I can answer it in 30 seconds. Now before I list off my dream celeb hunks lets start a few ground rules. You can not judge me at all, if you read this you must share at least 1 celeb dream boat in the comments & I promise not to judge you (maybe).
5. Dane Cook
Hes tall, skinny, super funny & over confident. Yep hes a hunk.
4. Adam Levine
Hes flirty, has a great smile & that voice. Yes yes he is #4.
This boy can dance, he can get me in to any good concert & his style is perfect.
2. Justin Timberlake
Do I really need to add anything here? He is charming, sings, dances & is so stinking handsome.
1. John Mayer
I know he would break my heart like every other girl. But cant a girl dream? He could sing his songs to me as I eat grapes & dream up our one day wedding. We would have beautiful kids.
So there it is! Any ideas for next weeks randomness? Any questions you are dying me to answer! Please tell!
Chambray top, green bracelet & shoes: Target, White top & White Bracelets: F21, Jeans: Gap, Purse: Vintage
This is what I wore to date night last Friday. These jeans aren't the best idea when you are eating an entire steak dinner & a loaf of bread. The high waist isn't comfortable with a full stomach. But it was a cute look. E calls these my hippy dippy jeans. He doesn't understand why certain trends come back. That's quite alright I love them!
Don't forget to sign up for the Mary Kay Satin Hands giveaway which ends today!!
Friday: E & I went out to eat at our favorite steakhouse
followed by going to Target, Michael's & OfficeMax to pick up supplies for my new booth at Lalah V's.
Saturday: I went to a lovely ladies event at church in the am. Then went to 4 thrift/vintage stores to find some odd and ends. Followed by a 3 hour nap and what I think may have been food poisoning. I was sick with all of the not so fun stuff & it wasted away my day. On the couch and then to the bathroom back and forth.
Sunday: I woke up feeling much better. Met Jayme and finally finalized a venue for the OH/MI blogger meet up. Picked up a garment rack and headed over to Lalah V's to set up my booth.
And now its 9:15 pm on Sunday and I have no posts saved for this week. I feel drained and not ready for Monday at all.
Ill be back Tuesday with an outfit post. In the meantime take a look at these beauty's for $24!

Today is all about my lovely sponsors! I'm so thankful to have sponsors that I love. One of my 2012 goals was to attain blog sponsorship and I feel so blessed to have done so. I don't allow just anyone to sponsor my blog & I have said no to offers in the past. My sponsors have to be the right fit for my blog. I want to make sure I'm bringing quality people and product's only on this space.
Congrats are in order to me. Yep that's right I just delivered twins. You didn't know I was pregnant? Me either. But yes one boy one girl. olive&otis.
Just kidding I didn't actually give birth to twins. I changed my etsy shop name from stacialeescloset to olive&otis. Why you ask? For a few reasons.
- I have a dream of opening up a shop one day. Lets be real stacialeescloset sounds like a 13 year olds pretend shop (totally talking about my 7th grade pretend shop, yes I was a late bloomer). But olive&otis is a great name for a real live not pretend shop.
- Many don't know how to say my name correctly. I don't want to lose word of mouth references for the sheer fact that someone cant spell or say my name.
- Olive and Otis are the names of my one day children. Yes you read that write.
My shop will be at the 330 swap & shop next month. My first real live interaction with what I hope will be customers. I knew that now is the time to change names. I emailed my sister a couple weeks ago to see if she was up for a design change. She is a design super star wonder woman. She was totally on board and is currently working on stickers, business cards & other items for my shop. She emailed me the banner today that is above. I love it. Just love it.
Make sure to come back next week for a olive&otis giveaway. And please don't feel like you need to send me flowers to the "hospital".
Hello lovely friends! Today I'm so happy to announce this giveaway! My friend Anna contacted me and wanted to offer something special for my readers! Lets start with the review!
Anna sent me a sample of the set of satin hands pampering set! To be honest I have very dry hands due to Hypothyroidism an under active thyroid. This leaves my hands very dry and I'm constantly trying to find the best product to keep my hands moisturized. So last night I happily washed & dried my hands and started with the first step.
Step 1 Satin Hands Hand Softener
Massage a small amount of cream into clean hands and between fingers.
Step 2 Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub
This step gave me goosebumps and I'm not kidding. It felt so good like I was getting rid of old dry skin & rejuvenating it at the same time.
Step 3 Satin Hands Hand Cream
Massage cream into hands and between fingers. This lasts for 24 hours and even lasts through several hand washings!
My hands feel so good! And they look good too! No more dry spots or cracked areas. It was a nice way to welcome Spring! Thank you Anna!
Now here is the part for you! Up for grabs is an adorable Satin Hands Pampering Set that includes one full size bottle of each item listed above that comes in a adorable tote bag. It comes in a great Peach scent, perfect for Spring!
Make sure you are a follower of my blog via Google Friend Connect & "like" Anna's Mary Kay facebook page. Both are mandatory entry's. Please leave a comment that you have done both. Giveaway ends April 24th at 12am EST and winner will be announced April 25th.
Make sure to head over to the Ohio Michigan Blogger Meet Up Blog for this weeks Sponsor Wednesday Post. While Im talking the Meet Up thanks to Anna for sponsoring our event as well! If you plan to attend we will be doing another set of satin hands gift bag giveaway!
*This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. Anna provided a sampler set for myself to review and the gift set for one reader valued at $34.*
Just picked up these great wedges at my local Target for 1/2 off. I really have been winning at Target in the shoe department lately. I was so thankful to snatch the last brown pair and even though they are size 9 they fit! My kind of day! And yes I said I was taking a day off but lets be real this took 5 minutes to write :)
Top: Charlotte Russe, Skirt: Shabby Chic, Shoes: DSW, Pearls: Gift, Earrings: Gift
Yesterday was Amanda's bridal shower! After months of preparation and checking and rechecking off my lists the day arrived! It was a hit! Ill will post some photos later this week of the decorations. Since it was a busy weekend I didn't get any outfit photos I thought I would share what I wore to the shower. I picked up that adorable floral top on sale for $10 and it is so comfortable!! I'm going to take tomorrow off from posting and catch up on sleep and housework. Ill be back Wednesday with a special product review and giveaway!
I walked in to Forever 21 after work on Monday looking to spend my Easter money. Something trendy and where I can buy an entire outfit for less than $50. I picked up this skirt, top & a blouse. This skirt I saw first I have been wanting to try the hi/lo trend and I thought polka dots are classic and if the trend goes away, I can have the back hemmed. I love these bright shoes they just had some spice to an otherwise neutral outfit.
How is your week going? Mine has been a bit stressful & emotional. I could use a beach vacation and leave the computer and cell at home! Tomorrow Ill be back with a Friday video its been about 5 months so why not?!!
White top & Shoes: Target, Blouse: F21, Jeans: Gap Limited Edition 2011
I wasn't going to post these photos because I was sick when they were taken and I think I look sick. But I'm changed my mind. Lack of content to post and I love this outfit and don't know when Ill where it again! I love the blouse but it was too chilly just to wear a tank under. This white cotton top does the trick. Its flowy and long enough to pair with the beautiful blouse. Those jeans I flew to Gap last year to purchase. I had to have them. Some people don't understand the high waisted jeans trend. If you have the legs and good high heel to wear with them do it up.
Tomorrow I'm featuring my newest trend purchase the hi/lo skirt. Have a happy day friends.
Tshirt: Old Navy, Jacket: Bass Pro, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Shoes: Target, Purse: The Limited, Necklace: Poor Sparrow, Bracelets: F21 & Thrifted, Sunglasses: Dollar Tree
I have been living in comfortable clothes & these shoes. I never knew how much animal print can go with! This was the perfect outfit to go to my favorite local restaurant Tony Packos! My Aunt & Uncle were in town from Tennessee and we had a great time catching up.
My little etsy shop is going to be at the 330 swap & shop. This will be my first time setting up "shop" & I'm super nervous about it. I needed a shop sign & had an idea of what I wanted. I found myself last weekend at a flea market picked up a old serving tray and my wheels starting turning. The serving tray was only $2! I instantly knew I wanted to make it into a chalkboard sign.
Instead of priming the tray I used sand paper.
I picked up this chalkboard paint at Menard's for $9! They have one that is actually dye able so you can choose a variety of colors. I choose classic black.
I picked up this plate holder at the same flea marker for $1. It needed some updating I used leftover pink spray paint. It took 2 layers of paint and it was good to go.
I'm quite proud of the turn out! We went to a few stores looking for chalk and have had no luck but Ill stop my an office store soon. The chalk paint took 3 layers for a even look. It drys very fast & was very easy to do.
Shoes, Top, Skirt & yellow bracelet: Target Shades: Dollar Tree
Yesterday I had lunch with two of my girlfriends at Panera. I love Panera. If I ate there everyday I would have to live out of my car. So its a special treat. We ate our lunch on the patio, soaked up the sun & chatted it up.
Tonight I'm heading to my friends house for part 2 of closet intervention. What do I mean by closet intervention? 100 pair of shoes & two jammed full closets. Last week we attacked one closet. Her homework was to get rid of her donated items before I come over this evening. She sent me a text yesterday that she did her homework! Looking forward to clearing out the other closet & organizing.
I'm over at the Ohio Michigan Blogger Meet Up Blog chatting about one of our favorite sponsors of the event. Make sure to check it out!
I recently did a little furniture rearranging & changed the way I display my necklaces. The clipboards are a great way to add some art to the walls & separate the necklaces. I also purchased clear shoe boxes to hold my shoes. I honestly only have about 12 pairs of shoes. And those cute dogs? They come with the apartment :)
