The Limited grand opening: Part 2 (giveaway closed)

An interview with Tori VP of Marketing & Mary store manager was one of the many highlights of my day.  It really felt like talking to two girlfriends they were both very sweet and answered my questions with such depth.  Tori had mentioned that she checked out my blog and that she was looking forward to seeing my outfit that I purchased on here!  It just warmed my heart!

Elissa, Tori, Mary & myself!
Question #1
How do you encourage creative thinking & dedication?
Tori answered
Don't accept status quo.  Start with biggest thing you want. Don't think small. Don't be inhibited by a budget.

Question #2
How do you help new employees understand the goals of The Limited?
Mary answered
It starts with the interview.  Applicants must have shared philosophy of encouraging and empowering women.

Question #3
What is the most essential accessory?
Mary and Tori answered
Mary: Black blazer.  (This is when I admitted I don't own a black blazer)
Tori: A great handbag.

Question #4
What do you see the biggest trend being for Winter?
Mary and Tori answered
Plaid, sixties and seventies inspired patterns.

After the interview I grabbed the items I had been eyeing up and tried them on.

Your door is personalized while your trying on clothes. I tired on 3 outfits! I would of loved to purchase all 3 but ended up with an outfit (to be posted soon) that Ashley one of the stores associates (very friendly) picked out for me.
So on to the part you have been waiting for!  A $50 gift card to The Limited.

A special thanks to Cari Steiner & The Limited for the invite. It was a day to remember!

  5. I love The Limited, their clothes fit me really well. I would probably buy either the emerald green wool sheath dress I saw there a couple of months ago (if it's still available), or something from their collection of suit separates.

  6. Well they have a lot of cute things but I would have to say either a top or a skirt (I guess whatever one you would tell me to get...lol). I remember when we lived in the Rossford house I would go shopping at the Limited all the time and I think I even maxed out the credit card I had with them. So to say that I love that store would be an understatement.

  9. Makes me want to go shopping! I haven't been to the Limited yet, I'm glad they came back to Toledo. If I won I would buy some versatile dress pants. I have cute fall tops but nothing to pair them with since my body has changed since having a baby.

  13. What fun! I love The Limited. When my sister and I were little, we shopped at a a Limited/ Express combo store. There was a woman there named Roz who dressed us for nearly ten years' worth of first days of school. I still see her at a different Limited store from time to time, and I always smile at her. I'm not sure that she remembers me and Pais, but I told her thank you for her years of style advice.
