Columbus Update

Hello!  So the move went super well on Saturday from Toledo to Columbus, except my beautiful vintage couch wouldn't fit in the door or up the stairs.  So a new couch is on the wish list. Until then my living room looks like a library with comfy chairs & a coffee table.  The mantle & bookshelves have already been decorated by my Mom.  She has the magic touch and they look great.  I still have plenty to unpack but my place already feels like home.  The dogs are loving it here, they have so much space to run around and chase each other.

I started my job yesterday!  Thankfully I had two 8 hour working interviews with my co-workers already so I felt comfortable starting!  Everyone is so nice and it seems like a 2nd family.

I was nervous that I would get here and feel lonely or sad and I haven't felt like that yet.  It could happen I know,  I'm only on day 4 but I honestly feel like this is all God's doing.  That is such a great feeling.  I already have plans for this Friday to meet with a fellow blogger!  She's friends with Candis and I'm so thrilled that she asked me to hang out!  Candis, Drew & the kids came over here on Sunday for lunch and I had a special box of toys and books just for West when he's here.  It was SO much fun! I'm starting a list of things I want see and places to go.  Its crazy how much Columbus has to offer.

My first day of work below! Using a social sign to say hello!  Pretty neat!

My current theme song.
"She's going to make it after all"

I'll be back this week to talk more about BlogHer & hopefully a new outfit post!  Don't forget to enter the JUPMODE giveaway that ends this week!

Tell me what is the biggest leap you have ever taken?

J.H. PHotography Outfit #2

Dress: Kohls, Necklace: Francesca's, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Purse: JC Penney
You might of caught my last post about J.H. Photography if not go check it outJennifer is very talented and if you are in the Toledo area I highly suggest contacting her for your photography needs.  Thank you J.H. photography for my beautiful photos!
This outfit provided many compliments while I was at BlogHer.  I even was told that I was found from the other side of the room due to this little $12 dress from Kohls.  Let me just say that neon is not my thing.  My pale skin & light hair isn't ideal for neon, but due to the neutral background of the dress I went for it.  Also all of you on instragram who told me to go for it! Thank you!
Today is my last day of work and that will provide Thursday & Friday for me to start & finish my packing.  If you could send a prayer my way for ease of packing and a prayer my Dad's way who is not one to have patience with moving I would greatly appreciate it. I will be back next week once I get settled in & start my new job!

BlogHer 2013: Leading Ladies

As most of you know I attended BlogHer last week in Chicago.  I was thrilled to be attending my first Blogging conference but I was nervous to travel for the first time by myself.  Imagine attending a conference of 5,000 women and going to seminars, parties & meals by yourself.  I knew I had to make the most of it because it took a pretty penny getting me there.  So I joined a Facebook group "cool people attending BlogHer" created by the hilarious Abbie.   Enter Crissy she was part of that group too!  She messaged me and asked if I wanted to be her plus 1 for a fashion event!  Um yes!  Not only was I constantly checking that facebook group but I only scanned the twitter streams for #blogher13.  I was so excited to see that Shannon was attending!  I've read her blog and follow her on social media but never formally introduced myself.  So I sent her a tweet that we have to meet up!  She responded and the rest is history!  So before I left Chicago I had both of their numbers saved in my cell and plans with both of them to meet up!

These two ladies helped make my experience at BlogHer an unforgettable one!  They are SO much fun and were up for almost anything!  I highly suggest you go check out their blogs and tell them hello! I have a few more BlogHer posts that I'm working on and at the end I will be giving away a mini swag bag of some neat items I picked up! Have a great weekend!

J.H. Photography Outfit #1

Jacket: Thrifted, Tank: Old Navy, Skirt: H&M via IG store, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Belt: borrowed from Candis, Purse: JC Penney
I recently had the pleasure to get together for a photo shot with Jennifer of J.H. Photography!  Jennifer is a very talented photographer who was the perfect fit for my 2013 photos!  Lets be honest I love getting my photos taken.  If I could I would do it all day long.  So we picked a downtown spot and went to several locations in the heat and she made magic with her camera!  I am in love with the final product, so much so I started updating all of my profile pictures right away!  I will be sharing my second outfit of the photo shoot next week!  Stay tuned for a more edgy but equally great look! In the mean time find Jennifer on facebook & check out her website!

The 411

Hi friends.  I hope your summer has been treating you so well!  I just got back from BlogHer in Chicago and had the time of my life!  I cant wait to share with you about my trip and what I learned.  I met  wonderful people, learned about blogging and even more about myself.  I know I've been absent lately, its been almost 2 months since I've posted.  A lot has happened in the last two months.  I recently accepted a position in Columbus Ohio and will be moving from Toledo to Columbus next Saturday.  I'm thrilled that I will be closer to my sister, Drew & the kids!  I'm looking forward to all of the new changes!  I will be working in a dental office and I found the most adorable town home 1 mile from where I'm working!   If you have been reading for awhile you probably are wondering where E is involved in all of this.  I took the break from the blog to be able to process our breakup that happened in June.  Unfortunately our timing wasn't right for each other and we just wanted different things in life at this moment.  He is a great person and I hope we can remain friends.

So thank you for your extreme patience with me as I navigated my summer that wasn't the way I planned it on being.  I had a great deal of time to realize what I needed in my life and what needed to improve.  Its crazy that at one moment you think you have everything together and so quickly it can change.  I'm so thankful that my great God has provided a new map for me. The Momany sisters in the same city since 2003.  Can Columbus handle it?

Since returning from BlogHer I am feeling extremely motivated to start up this little corner of the Internet again.  In the next week you will find a beautiful photo shoot by a talented photographer here in Toledo, a giveaway from a t-shirt company in Toledo & my recap of the famous BlogHer.

Thanks for listening.

What I Wore: Mother & Daughter Fashion

Sweater & Shirt: Old Navy, Scarf: Target, Purse: JC Penney, Shoe: Kmart, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Bracelets: Vintage & Forever 21

My Mom & I recently went to the Old West End Home Tour here in Toledo.  When she picked me up I literally laughed and said that maybe I should change so we don't look like twins.  We were both wearing stripes, skinny jeans & canvas shoes.  We both fell in love with the gardens behind the Ann Manor Condominiums!  If you are in the area I highly suggest taking the home tour next year!
