I have been drooling over these pants at Target and I finally bit the bullet and paid full price!  I can't wait to go back and hopefully pick up another color!  They are so comfortable and perfect for work & weekend wear!  And if you are wondering those are also new shoes, bag & shirt.  I have been wearing those adorable shoes with everything!  I love these shoes because they fill so many holes in my closet!  Do you have a item like that?  I would love to hear about it!

And isn't Eric becoming quite the photographer?  Sorry for the overload of photos but I couldn't choose just a few!

What I Wore: You will do better in Toledo!

Vest: Thrifted, Skirt: Old Navy, Shoes & Purse: Target, Bracelet: Gift, Necklace: c/o Poor Sparrow, Shirt: Jupmode via Makers Mart

I picked up this adorable shirt at Makers Mart last month!  I saw it someone wearing it on my instagram feed and I wanted it instantly!  If you follow the link to Jupmode it tells the story behind the shirt which made me want it even more! I enjoyed wearing this outfit because it is very comfortable but still put together enough for a date night out in downtown Toledo with Eric.

How was your weekend?  I had a wonderful weekend!  We had some relaxing time doing yard work and taking a nap outside on the grass.  I also had my hair done which was 3 months over due!  It feels so good to have it done!  Eric finally choose his new bike and purchased it over the weekend.  He decided on a Harley and I can't wait to go riding this weekend!  Comment below to share what you did over the weekend and if you have a favorite comfy outfit!

What I Wore: Printed Top!

Tank: Old Navy, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Top: BCBG hand me down , Shoes: Target, Bracelets: Forever 21 & bracelets, Sunglasses: Dollar Tree

So I changed in to this outfit after work today.  We were going out for dinner and to look at Harley's for Eric.  I came downstairs and asked him what he thought of my "new" top and he asked if we were going to Mexico.  So I asked does that mean you don't like it?  He said he was still thinking about it.  So then when we took these photos he said I looked like a bird with wings.  All I know is I love this top given to me from Renee and I felt sassy wearing it!  Have a great weekend friends!

What I Wore: Denim, Emerald & Stripes

Jacket: Thrifted, Top: Old Navy, Pants: Kohls, Shoes: Target, Bracelets: Forever 21 and thrifted, Necklace: Errol at Makers Mart Toledo

I purchased this shirt at Old Navy two weeks ago and I cant stop wearing it!  Its super long and the material is very soft!  I think the black, denim & emerald look really good together. Almost a bit of a nautical feel!  Typically I would of worn this with flats but I gave Eric the choice and he said heels.  Speaking of Eric hes becoming quite the photographer.  This weekend we worked on getting the garden ready & also purchased some plumbing materials to make a watering system for the garden that hooks up to the rain barrels.  I cant wait for spring weather to stick around!  How was your weekend?

Congrats to Anna who won the pair of tickets to the Goodwill Fashion Show!

Mascara Wardrobing

I have a confession to make...

I am a mascara junky

I love to try out new mascaras.. and depending on what I am doing, it will affect which mascara I choose. I thought I would show you a few that I use, and some that I would recommend to other clients.  Here are my favorites-

1. Diorshow Maximizing Lash Primer- This amazing white to clear eyelash primer doubles as a safe lash growth serum! I swear by this stuff! Use it morning and night for bet results, and you will notice in 2 weeks or less! After that just do it once a day for maintenance.
2. A new favorite of mine, Hourglass Film Noir Mascara. This brand is almost completely vegan and very good for your skin. This mascara is very moisturizing for your lashes.
3.Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Serum- Apply at the base of your lashes up to twice daily for fuller longer looking lashes. This brand is completely all natural so it's safe for your eyes. I was scared when I first wanted to try something like this, from all that I had heard about the other lash growths out there- but I was pleasantly surprised!
4.This is a classic for me- YSL Shocking mascara. This mascara is so easy to use! One swipe, and you have longer, thicker lashes. Perfect for someone who doesn't want to spend a ton of time on their lashes. Believe it or not, it smells amazing- like roses! It is a glossy gel base formula, that is meant for lengthening and thickening the lashes.
5. Lastly (which is weird because I use this first*) the Sephora Eyelash Curler. This curler is easy to use, and comes with two replacement heads. Comes in a huge range of colors to fit your personality.

Here are a few more that might fit you better..

For the girl who: Likes to spend time on their lashes, and put on a few coats just to make sure they look thick and long. I would recommend the Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara. Something really unique about this mascara, is that it has tubing technology so it wraps around each individual lash, for easy removal with any eye makeup remover. This also makes it great for anyone with sensitive eyes.

For the girl who: May already have decently long lashes, but needs serious curl. I would say the Urban Decay Supercurl Mascara. This mascara is guaranteed to hold the curl all day, and also separate lashes for extra definition.

For the girl who: Has trouble getting every last little lash. The Clinique Bottom Lash mascara is perfect to make sure every lash gets loved. The tip is very small, but perfect to reach in to the inner eye, and lower lash line. It's also smudge proof- which is great for anyone who tends to have watery eyes.
For the girl who: Loves a dramatic Lash. I would recommend They're Real! Mascara from Benefit. The wand on this mascara is what really makes it. You want to use it like a tool- moving it every direction to get the most volume. The formula is water-resistant, gel-like, and the blackest black. It seperates, defines, thickens, lifts, AND curls. What more could you want?

For the girl who: Likes her lashes to look natural with a little extra definition. This one was a tie for me.  My classic choice would be Tarte Lights Camera Lashes because it is all natural, and a favorite of so many people. It's a very light weight formula that stays in place all day. It curls, conditions, and lengthens lashes. The other is, Korres Volcanic Mineral Mascara. This formula is made to increase lash volume by up to 600%. Brush looks scary, but this formula won't clump. It is all natural, very conditioning, and very black.

And now... last but not least.... I saved the best for last....

Too Faced Better than False Lashes - The DIY Eyelash Extension System.

This stuff is awesome. You are in control of how long your lashes will be. You begin with one layer of the black mascara as a base, then directly apply the white fiber extensions on top of that, and apply a finishing layer of mascara, and repeat until you get the results you are looking for! At the end of application, your lashes still look natural and separated! They look REAL!

Hope this helps you to pick out your new mascara. Don't be afraid to layer a few to get the perfect lash!

What I Wore: Coral & Navy

Blazer: The Limited, Top: Old Navy, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Shoes: Target, Necklace: c/o Poor Sparrow, Bracelet: Gift

I broke down and went to Old Navy last week and picked up some spring items.  I felt like I was the only girl in the office still wearing winter colors and I felt like a downer!  They currently are running some great deals!  I picked up 5 tops, 2 tanks & a cardigan for $60!  You really cant beat that!

This past Saturday I went to Artomatic419 that was held at an old warehouse with over 400 artists, live music & makers mart.  I made sure to stop by the ATM on my way there and I picked up some great items from Makers Mart.  I cant wait to share them with you!  If you are in the Toledo area I highly suggest spending a few hours there next Saturday which is the final day.  Its from 11-11 and its free to get in! It was such a great feeling to be walking around that area of Toledo which is usually dead.  It made me feel energized and proud of my city.
